Hi there! Welcome to my little corner of wedding bliss.
My name is Heather, and I am the vendor that you need if you want fun, creative, and stunning wedding images.
A little about me:
I am a mother to two beautiful little girls ages 2 and 3. Needless to say, we have our hands full at home. I warn all of my brides that if you call me on a day at home you probably will hear one of the minions in the background running around singing and dancing 🙂
I was a nurse for 6 years until I could no longer deny the urge to follow my passion for photography. I now have a beautiful studio in downtown Johnson City that is my second home and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I get to be with people during the happiest times in their lives. Weddings and newborns are my specialties and I have put blood, sweat, and tears in to perfecting my craft (literally) and I continue to push myself every day to learn something new.
I have a close relationship with all of my brides. I love to get to know each couple before your wedding day because your photographer is with you through the entire thing. I even have some calling me at 1am stressing about wedding details and we figure it out over a glass of wine:)
I have a photo-journalist approach to your wedding day photo coverage. I stay back and capture all of the candid moments instead of intruding on your moments together. There are times such as the family formals, bridal party portraits, and bride and groom portraits that I will need to step in to pose and adjust to quickly get through them with stunning results and get you on your way to celebrating with loved ones.
If you have met me, you know that I love nothing more that photographing details. You have spent countless hours and invested not only monetarily, but emotionally in every choice you have made with your partner for your wedding day. I want to make sure that every.single.detail. is documented for not only the two of you, but for future generations to come. I think my drive to do so comes from the fact that I can not remember what my center pieces were on my tables at my own wedding 6 years ago.
My editing style:
I have a very clean, crisp, classic style of shooting and editing. I want your images to remain timeless instead of dated.
I look forward to hearing from you and learning all about the two of you and your special plans!
